Saturday, April 18, 2026
TIME: 11:30 AM CT
TV: FS1 / FOX Sports App
RADIO: MRN / SiriusXM
LAPS: 100 (150 Miles)
🚨 PRE-RACE STATUS: No major inspection penalties reported as of v2.0. So What? Teams are currently entering the garage for initial technical inspections. Staying clear of penalties is vital for the young ARCA field to maximize limited practice time on the 1.5-mile tri-oval.

Tech Section: 700 HP Composite Package

The ARCA Menards Series utilizes composite-body cars powered by Ilmor NT1 engines. Why? This package produces approximately 700 HP and is designed for cost control and durability. So What? With less downforce than the Cup or O'Reilly series cars, drivers must rely heavily on throttle control and drafting skill to maintain speed through Kansas’s 14° banked turns.

Goodyear Technicals: ARCA uses a standard short-to-intermediate compound. Why? To handle the high-speed loads of a 1.5-mile oval while allowing for some fall-off. So What? Expect moderate left-side wear. Stints typically last 40-50 laps, meaning green-flag pit strategy and two-tire calls will be the deciding factors in the final 20 laps.

Track Evolution: Kansas is known for its multi-groove racing. So What? As the track takes rubber during Friday's practice, the "groove" will widen, allowing the field to move from the bottom to the wall to find cleaner air for drafting.
