🚨 EVENT UPDATE: Kansas Speedway has officially promoted Saturday as a "Doubleheader Day" (ARCA + O'Reilly). So What? This ensures a higher track rubber-load before the O'Reilly race, but ARCA teams must deal with a "green" track during their early morning sessions. Fanwalk access is available Saturday morning for those with proper credentials.

Tech Section: 700 HP Composite Package & Tire management

The ARCA package uses 700 HP unrestricted Ilmor NT1 engines. Why? To emphasize driver throttle control over pure aerodynamic downforce. So What? On the abrasive 1.5-mile surface, driver skill and tire conservation are more critical than raw aero mapping.

Goodyear Technicals: Teams run the standard intermediate compound. Why? To handle high-speed lateral loads in the 14° banked turns. So What? Left-side wear becomes significant after 40-50 laps. With 100 laps total, a two-tire call during a mid-race caution could swing track position decisively for the finish.

Verified Field Intel: The entry list has swelled to 30+ cars, one of the largest ARCA fields at Kansas in recent history. So What? Tighter drafting packs and more "lapped traffic" technicalities will challenge the leaders compared to previous years.
