Tech Section: Goodyear Specs & Darlington Asymmetry

Darlington’s unique egg-shaped layout—with a tighter Turn 2—requires a mechanical setup that favors high-side stability. Why? The abrasive surface causes extreme tire fall-off, shifting the focus from raw power to tire conservation.

Goodyear Technicals: Teams will run Tire Codes D-6106 (Left) and D-6130 (Right).

So What? These are familiar codes used here last year. Teams with deep historical data on these sets have a significant advantage in predicting how the "slick" track will react as the sun sets.

Mandates: Inner liners are required. Teams are limited to only 4 new race sets. So What? Strategic green-flag pitting and the management of "scuff" tires will be the deciding factor for reaching Victory Lane.

Drivers & Teams: Official Entry List

There are 36 trucks confirmed for 36 spots, ensuring a full field with no DNQs.

  • Corey Heim (#5): The early 2026 power rankings leader; excels on technically demanding intermediates.
  • Layne Riggs (#34): A high-upside contender who currently anchors the qualifying order.
  • Ty Majeski (#88): A veteran threat known for mastering long-run tire management.

Pre-Race Section: Friday Order

Qualifying uses a performance metric order. So What? Contenders like Heim and Riggs qualify last, giving them the benefit of a rubbered-in surface.

Order: Justin Carroll (#90) takes the first lap; Layne Riggs (#34) is the final qualifier.
