O'Reilly Series Debut • v1.0
Phoenix Raceway
Avondale, Arizona
DATE: Saturday, March 7, 2026
START TIME: 7:30 PM ET
TV/RADIO: The CW / MRN / SiriusXM
STAGES: 45 / 90 / 200

Tech Section: Short-Track Aero Specs

The O'Reilly Series utilizes Next Gen-derived flange-fit composite bodies with 650-670 HP. For the Phoenix event, cars run the specific short-track package: 3-inch spoilers and reduced diffuser strakes to minimize aerodynamic dependency in traffic.

"So What?" Factor: Reducing diffuser strakes is designed to improve the "racing feel" by allowing trailing cars to follow more closely in the corners, placing the burden of speed on mechanical grip and driver throttle response.

Goodyear Tire Specs

Teams will use the Goodyear Eagle short-track radials. This compound is designed for high heat cycles, critical for a Saturday night race under the lights where track temperatures fluctuate during the 200-lap duration.

Pre-Race: Friday Prep

Qualifying: Friday, 8:05 PM - 9:00 PM ET (Impound). Two-round format to set the 38-car grid.

Weather: 70°F with scattered clouds. Higher humidity (30%) may slightly affect engine tuning compared to the desert daytime norms.
