Tech Section: 2026 Next-Gen Stability & Stage Revisions

NASCAR has revised the stage lengths to 98 / 143 / 188. Why? To curb "fuel-saving trains" where drivers run half-throttle to make it to a long stage end. So What? Teams will now push to 44–46 laps under green via extreme saving to reach stage ends, making track position and pit cycles more critical than ever.
