Tech Section: O'Reilly Intermediate Spec
The O'Reilly series utilizes the Next Gen-based intermediate package, optimized for the high-banked Las Vegas 1.5-miler. With engine output targeted at 650-670 HP, the focus is purely on aero balance and long-run mechanical grip.
Tire Tech: Goodyear Eagles focused on wear over long green-flag runs (typically 50-60 laps). The abrasive Las Vegas surface rewards drivers who can manage rear-tire temperature during pack drafting.
Drivers & Teams: Series Hype
Justin Allgaier (#7): The defending winner and current points leader. Allgaier is the benchmark for intermediate performance and is hungry to defend his Vegas territory against the Cup crossovers.
Jesse Love (#2): The RCR phenom has shown elite single-lap speed. Watch for him to challenge Larson and Zilisch for the pole in Saturday qualifying (1:05 PM ET).
