Computers and Electronics
Computer & Telecommunication Systems have been part of my life for over 40 years. They are a means to support my family and also blead into my hobbies I enjoy in my non-working time with my family members and friends.
My interests with computers started back in the late 1970's when I started programming (tinkering) with a DEC Writer terminal connected to a midrange computer system at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology's EE Department. This access was part of a Hill City High School math course offered as an experiment by my math teacher and the University. After this I was given a Radio Shack TRS-80 by my parents and the rest is history. I have been involved with some sort of Electronics and Computers ever since - these days that means figuring out how AI fits into the picture, and helping the rest of the family make sense of it too.

Pheasants Forever
- The local Pheasants Forever Chapter that I belong to is the Washington County Pheasants Forever.
- I held the role of Youth Chairman for the chapter along with my wonderful and supportive wife Sharon for 18 years, and one of the most rewarding events the chapter hosts is the Annual Mentored Youth Pheasant Hunt.

The Blade mCX Micro Helicopter
Fast forward to 2010 - wow, how things have changed over the years. The last time I flew anything RC I was 16 years old. To think that I could be flying a fully functional 4 channel helicopter in my family room that only weighs 28g / 1oz (less than 5 quarters) back then would have been impossible. I just have to say that this little micro is impressive to say the least.
